Hey Guys and Gals,

You may not know that I am a native Texan, born (some say 'hatched') in Houston and then moved to Austin when I was 20, lived there for 10 years where I was graduated from UT. Then came to Chicago for professional reasons a little better than 4 years ago. Austin has a special place in my life and Texas is a place that I love dearly. It's an awesome place to live...(except for the heat!)

But I know you all are a VERY active bunch of owners. And the two times I have been back recently, I saw lots of S2000's rolling around, it was quite the contrast to Chicago, where I can go months without seeing one on the road.

Anyway, I sure hope to have Texas represented well at S2KDays. Texans are just cool people, even if you are not a native, you are still cool. If you haven't decided to go or you have your doubts or whatever the case, just know that I want you to go. We'll raise a glass and salute my home state when you get there...

PS I WISH I could go to S2k days. Are Texans actually DRIVING their cars that far? Can we have the next one in Texas PLEASE
