There are some fun roads near the northern part of town (Bulverde Rd. to Obst Rd. leading back to Specht is definitely always good fun).. I live off of Gold Canyon & 1604, so I am north-central. I know of a couple of owners in my general area that come to the meets as well as some from the NW side of town and even as far as Hondo.

The only bad part about taking some of the fun hill country roads in the evening time is we really have to be careful about deer. Those kamikaze animals are some of the dumbest creatures on the planet.

If you guys just want a meet/greet type of thing, I might be interested in throwing together a BBQ or something at my house at some point in time... Maybe even have a small tech session if anybody wants to do some small bolt-on mod(s) of some sort. Anyways, we have lots of options. Throw out some ideas and we'll vote on what to do.

 

There are a lot of deer in my neighborhood as well. And you never know if they are going to suddenly bolt in the direction of danger rather than safety. I think they have their wires crossed somewhere. How about we just throw out a date Sat jan 29. it is about 3 weeks away so there should be plenty of time to make plans. Let me know what you all think.

 

that saturday would be good or the 23 i think is the week before..hopefully the weather is nice and cool..no rain or anything..pretty much any friday or saturday is good for me...btw..i think the sunday after next they are having autox at the verizon wireless theatre in the morning..i need to find the website..im not gonna do it cuz i cant afford to kill my tires right now but yall might be interested

If the tickets arnt to expensive i wouldnt mind going to that. Not to run. I am still learning my car.

The 29 and the 23 are both ok for me. I am going to keep both weekends free and we will play it by the weather.

I'm 99.9% sure its free to watch..if you wanna run the autox i believe its like 25 bucks..i believe its from 8-5 with the drivers meeting at 10 or 1030 and the fun happening after that..

My wife and I are 43 & 44 and she just gave me our Suzuka Blue 2005 S2K for my birthday about two weeks ago. We would be interested in a drive/dinner and should be available for either date. We live in the 281 & 1604 area and I saw a pre 2004 blue S2K at the Thousand Oaks post office yesterday afternoon. We look forward to meeting some other enthusiasts.

 

I know that i said the 23 was good for me but I just remembered that the 23 is my wedding anniversary. And I dont think that going on a drive is what she would want to do for our anniversary.

But i think I will go check it out on sun. I have never seen an auto cross b4. Any one else want to go?
