Saturday at noon sounds great, I think i'll be driving in friday night and staying at my brother's place near campus. Jason can you PM me with your phone number address and directions? this way I could planout my routes before I take off. I'll be taking my portable tool kit, only thing I'll need is probably good set of jackstand and jack. the spring/exhaust/intake should take no longer then 3-4 hours assuming couple of us work on it at the same time. anyhow.. I'm looking forward to this "tech" session and I hope someone brings plenty of film for the camera!!!!!

There have been many many articles about this kind of stuff. Most recently, we say the Mazda Miata vs Miata tape - where the new car with the lower profile tires handling worse than the old car with it's 15" tires. When the tires were swapped, the new car then did better. You'll also hear the same thing from Boxster folks about the choice of 18" wheels on their car, versus 17" and smaller.
Voice of experience: learn how to get the most out of what you have now, before attempting to "improve" it.
Well said, Jeff. Thanks for the info. I was considering 17" or 18" my next time around with wheels/tires but I will stick to my 16".

MAY

You guys have fun...I really wish I could be there to learn everything!! Maybe next time around...

Jason, go ahead and pm or e-mail me directions to your house...I may seriously convince her to let me go...wouldn't be able to take her since 3 people can not fit in an S. I'll just have to drive back to Houston and spend Sat. night with her. Do you know how long it takes to get from Houston to Austin?
