Ive had enough minor accidents to cost me a small fortune, except 90 percent have not been my fault. wish drivers werent so stupid...

anyways, I took my car into houston to get some work done at Modena auto works, who are supposed to be one of the, if not, the best in town, and i have to say im less than satisfied. prices are outrageous(thankyou for insurance) and the work has more errors than things right. So now I have to take it back to him to get it all fixed on his dime and time.

Long story short, Ive been taking my car to this guy Ronny in Austin. Fair/better than fair prices and quality work. Havent had a problem with him yet and the work has been up to my expectation which is pretty high.

If youre looking for a place in austin, this is probably it. And while your on the way, stop at a little place called Juan in a Million(on Caesar Chavez about 1 mile before paint and body, on the left). Order the Don Juan. $3.50 biggest/best plate of breakfast taco's for a hang over you ever ordered. Need to order 2 extra tortillas to be able to eat it all.

So, is this guy tops as far as quality comes? I just got my Mugen ht and need it painted. I'm pretty picky.

In my opinion, he paints well. When I took my car to him he even noticed where another person had made mistakes that I had never noticed...and im pretty picky too, usually catch everything. My bro just had his entire front end replaced on his g35, and the paint matches very well. Hes matched a few things for me and they all look good. Plus his prices are very reasonable.
I would not feel nervous sending you to him. If you like I could give him a call and he might cut you a bit of a deal too since I bring him quite a bit of business. Just tell me. Later

Many, many of us have taken our Ss to Jeff's Auto Body on Lamar. They do top notch work, and everyone who has taken a car there to have work done has been happy, including the ultra picky Stantaur, who had his M3 painted there last summer. Chris S, Spiderxvpbiking (that's AC's S2KCA screen name, not sure what he goes by on S2Ki), Wickerbill, and others have also had work done on cars there and have been very satisfied with the work. They know us really well and like working on S2000s enough that they had an S2000 put on their company tshirt! They are well versed with the BS games insurance companies like to play and won't pander to the insurance companies, as they believe the car owner should be the true customer.

Did I mention that they give us lots of freebies too?
