Hey guys, I don't know if anyone remebers me. I don't see too many names I recognize....except Ricky. I think he will be here for eternity. I used to have a Spa but sold it a few years ago. I really missed the S so I found another one. Hopefully I make it out to a cruise and meet up with everyone. The last cruise I was on was the one to Lakey Texas. We went on loop 336 (100 mile loop). That was great.
By the way...I spotted two Ss early this week. A dark silver on the south bound access of I10 by Huebner (right about lunchtime). Another S on Toeperwein in Live Oak - I did not see the color (dark already), but it had aftermarket exhaust.

hello and welcome back hopefully we cant see u at a meet soon. (there is one this weekend!)
Actually I wanted to go to the cars & coffee, but I misread the date. I thought it was Sunday so I missed it.
Hopefully I'll make the next one.
Welcome back. One of these days we'll need to have a gathering of the "Old Ones". By that I mean the 00-01 AP1's, not necessarily the owner. Curious to see how some of the original model year S2Ks are holding up. While mine has nearly 115K on the clock I know of another with over 130K.

Stefan -- the '00 Silverstone S2000 I picked up as my race car has 127k miles on it and runs great. It was owned by a fellow S2ki members ("Joy S2000" - Renae) and almost seems like it's faster than my Spa Yellow '02 with 14.7k miles on it. I pulled the valve cover and checked the valve spring retainers on it before AutoXing it and everything looked good. I did end up replacing all of the control arms on it to freshen the bushings, balljoints, etc... I also replaced the entire front brake system (calipers, rotors, pads, etc)... Other than that, just having fun with it.

I was looking through some old posts.....wonder if they are still around...
Bryan - had a silver or grey AP1 from Randolph AFB
Laura - grey AP2
Brian - Mystic painted AP1
Andy - grey AP2 from Lackland AFB
Nick - white AP1 from Austin
I am guessing the military guys have been re stationed.

Woah... Yes... Okay...
Bryan Williams with the Silverstone AP1 ended up getting stationed in Arkansas (I think that's where it was, might have been Oklahoma or Kansas -- it was basically not all that far north of us)... Him and his wife just had their first child about a year or year and a half ago. I haven't talked to him since that point, but he said he was doing well when I called him.
Laura Esparza -- she originally had a red AP1, got the silver AP2, and eventually got rid of that for another red AP2... Occasionally she pops back on here and, from what I've heard, comes out to some of the meets on occasion.
