Minimal. You have a fairly easy launch, then shift into 2nd and you pretty much run the whole course in 2nd gear. You'll probably get around 50-60mph max if there's a straight long enough so the tires don't wear too badly.

 

Ok cool...well.. i think i may just run this next event.. sound like fun... Im sure someone will post the date of the event... cant wait till it then. im like 80% sure i will run.

Do i need a helmet to run?

Will someone give me a ride along before i run if possible to get a feel of it first?

Next event for Sasca is August 16th at the AT&T Center.

Yep, you'll need a helmet to run and send a picture or a copy of your insurance card to sasca@swbell.net just so they can have it on record. They usually have loaner-helmets in the Sasca trailer or you should be able to borrow one from someone if you're running in a different heat.

You'll have time to walk the course with us in the morning and then when you grid up you'll be able to get a few ride-alongs with others before your turn comes up.

i think i will go to Houston and come back that same day i dont know yet that sounds not tooo smart lol

 

yea i think i may stay and go to the autocross...Sounds fun. depends on the funds,. i may still want to go to Houston tho..

 

i think i convinced my parents to come to the second half so they can get ride along and watch me im looking forward for this!!!!!!!!!!!
