Default Soft Top

I just got my soft top for replacement and I was wondering if there's someone with experience and willing to give me a hand replacing my soft top, I don't have a lot of money for labor, that's why I'm seeking for help. I can take my car over and bring 1 or 2 cases of beer or something, pay for lunch and if necessary for evening meal... Thanks in advance for any help, I really need it since the rain It's causing damage on the trunk and everything in it every time it rains...

did you get a glass back or the original top. I have replaced my top 2x both with the retro fit back glass. it is a long process for first timers. I don't have a garage b/c I live in apt.

I wish my garage had more room as I would have replaced mine by now. I should be replacing mine sometime in July when we finally move to a house. I have no experience replacing a soft top but I might have some time on Saturday to help out if someone else has a place to take it to.

I bought a glass replacement for it, I'm in Killeen but that's not an issue, I can drive wherever the car needs to go to do this... I'm Trying to do it before I go on vacations next month otherwise will be in July when I come back. I don't completely trust my self to do this by my self the first time, I can't afford to mess this up...

Apparently a glass soft top will NOT fit on a plastic soft top frame. You will have to replace the entire frame itself.. When my soft top ripped, I sold it to a local guy and spent the money on a hardtop. I don't have experience with replacing the top itself.. but I've removed the entire frame from my car, and the other guys car, and put my old frame in his. Hopefully you can find a glass soft top frame.

This replacement tops are specific for this model year, and they are suppose to fit.
