Tech session
Details, you want details? Well, I was hoping to have some stainless brake lines by now, but looks like they will be delayed. But, we can still get together, I will change my oil also. Randy, did you put the X-brace on yet. Maybe someone else has something they want to do. Meet at my house about 11am. I'll provide a burger and chips, BYOB. We may goof off more than we work, but, heh. I have plenty of parking, and we can work in the shade of my garage. Anyone have an extra hydraulic jack?. E-mail me at rkimble@brwncald.com to confirm, and get directions.
Haven't installed it yet Texas - still got Mingsters X...er..FLCB in the trunk. It is 8.5lbs, as opposed to the 5.5 pounds of the Spoon. (not my weight measurements, but seems quite accurate)
along with a pair of FIAMM horns, the ones that Coral Doc and Greg recommended - I listened to the wav file and was conviced, these are annoying, must have them! not sure I want to go through the install on those just yet.
denso iridium spark plugs
fuel pressure regulator
front grill - should be in any day now. but that takes a whopping 1.5 minutes to install.
I think that's it. Oil changes? Notta problem. I'll bring the oil filter wrench and oil pan along. (not like you need the wrench, just use sandpaper if its tight)
the brake lines - were you getting the troutman? porterfield? goodrich? or...? at least got the speedbleeders Tex?
nope, no extra jack. back in Houston I had two of the floor jacks from Discount Tire - heavy duty things they were, weighed quite a bit, but nearly impossible to destroy - wait, that's why I dont have them any more, they no workie. nor do I have jack stands at the moment. but I can always pick up a set of those, but not the cut tube kind, I'm kinda iffy on those.
what else do you need for the cookout? drinks?

I have 2 jack stands and a fair assortment of tools and the Helm's manual. Also a good area to wash your baby if need be. I was hoping to get the Troutman lines, but you know the status on that. Bring whatever, and we'll see what we want to tackle.

I have ramps too, but I don't think I can fit them in my stook.
The jack works better though actually, as long as you have jack stands, (oddly enough I have a 5 ton hydralic jack but no stands) I like a little more security than that, so I usually use my ramps.
I'll be there. I tenativley have a meeting w/ Dan Powell, some time dearing the day, (haven't confirmed a time yet) So I might be late, or have to leave early. I'll be there though. See yall.
as Randy said as well... Do you want us to bring anything other than libations?

John, come early and leave early. I have to wrap things up by 3pm or so in order to go to a friends place for dinner. Bring the brew, I'll cover the rest. We may not get much work done, but we can have fun.
