Texas fans?
Sounds like a really stupid question doesn't it? (well I had to start the thread someway)
We are all Texas fans; so my real question is: Does anybody want to go to a game? We could have a S2000 cheer group
!
I don't have there schedule in front of me but I think they play tech on the 29th. If there are still seats available for that game I would like to go. I haven't checked yet because I wanted to see what kind of response I would get from this thread.
Does anybody want to go? I'm sure we have some ex alumni in our group that could probably get tickets easier and cheaper than the average Joe...
Anybody?

Tickets can be hard to find, but there are definitely ways around it. Had some friends come and visit this weekend for the Carolina game (our undergrad alma mater), so I got a hold of some student tickets from my fellow MBAs ($25 a piece). Borrowed some student ID's which they could flash at the Stadium gate (they don't even bother to look. In fact, my friend's wife used a male student's ID and the girl checking didn't even bother to look- as long as she had an ID to show). and voila, got them in and had a nice time seeing Carolina get their ass kicked big time. Now if it was basketball, this would be a whole other deal altogether.
So, if you know some students, it could work. If I find anything out about tickets for the Tech game, I'll let y'all know

I just called assessing availability, and the only available tickets for the general public would be seats in section 13 and 14 (which is the endzone) for the Kansas game. The seats are not good seats, and they cost $40, but he said that if we bought them now, we would be able sit together.
Can anybody with other resources do better than that?
If not who is still interested in going? It would be on Saturday November the 10th time to be available.

Actually, I think I am going to road trip to Houston next weekend to watch UT whoop Houston High's a**. Cheap tickets, good seats available, 2 1/2 hour road trip (hopefully I will have my car back then). Don't know if you guys think it is worth it but I do since I will already be in Houston for the 'Stros/Cubs game on Sunday.
