Default track time reminder, TWS.

Randy said he'd join me so we could fry eggs on the tarmac. The TWS Motorsports Club is running an event in one month, Aug. 3-4.

I think CDelena and Dave from Houston are regulars at this event.

Cool. Just made my reservation at the Manor Ho' today. Can't wait to try out my new suspension.

New suspension? What'd you get?

I want to go, but I'm going to Hawaii later that month, so money saving is needed. You guys have fun.

BTW, I dont think its worth staying at the Manor House. Its just a matter of time before someone finds a dead hooker under the matress (a la "Four Doors" - movie). There is some newer hotels out there.

Schatten, do both?

hi50, I dumped my full coilover suspension for a new, coilover setup, which is based on set of custom valved Koni Double Adjustable dampers (rebound and compression). I'd think about doing TMR, but I want to work out the kinks on a 'known' track.

Hope to catch you guys there,

Jeff, the happy hour bus driver

Sept 7-8 at TMR was the next track event I was looking at. I hear mixed reviews on it: some like the technical course, others say its boring because its not as fast as TWS, its hard on your brakes/tires, etc.

I'd like to try it just once, and draw my own conclusions. Hopefully it wont be as hot in September as well.

Frayed, that sounds like a nice setup. Going for the 2 min flat at TWS?

I think improvements in lap times will come much more slowly from here on out. It'll probably take me an eternity to hit 2 mins now.

If you guys hit TMR, let us know your thoughts! I can tell you based on friends' reports of TMS, don't bother, but TMR is supposed to be fun. I've been invited to go up to TMR by one of its members. . . just haven't taken him up on it yet.

How do you register for track time and what special requirements are there? Helmet, fire suit?
