i am boosting mine...

its gonna be costly..but if you have the money..you will put down some serious numbers...if dont correctly ...tune is key..and dont take any shortcuts...

Precision R is the only shop in town I go to...

Will is the owner..tell him that Gus sent you.,..

I agree with Gus. Precision R is rebuilding my F20 right now. And I will definitely take it back when I am ready to go boost...

If your looking to go FI look into the BRP/SOT supercharger or the inlinePRO turbo kit. The supercharger kit should be out in the next month or so and look promising. the inline kit can make serious power just look to spend 7 to 9k to get there. Anything over 350 rwhp traction becomes a huge issue until highway speeds.

Does precision R have there own dyno? while I live in FL I may be moving back to SA in a few months.

No they don't have a dyno. Will said that he doesn't believe in them.

Has the owner of that vehicle dyno'd his car since then? Also, what type of additional maintenance is needed or what time frames (for the maintenance) have changed?

I do know he has dyno'ed since then...and his first time at the track before the dyno tune...i believe he was in the mid 12's if not low 12's but dont quote me on that one...

i do know he was only on 6psi....and he was tuned with Greddy Emanage...

the only downside for the guy Will said was that he was on stock clutch so when he went to the track he started to slip..but as far as street use on stock he was fine...but he suggested of course upgrading..

maintenance was just like any other boosted vehicle...

Will tunes very safe but at the same time makes good power and reliability...

our main shop (2NRWerks) here in Tampa doesn't use a dyno either and they are putting out some great running cars. Most of the top tuners though don't believe in street tuning.

Is that turbo S2K still in town? Do you know what kit that used or custom?

as far as maintenance goes nothing really changes from what you should already be doing. there have been issues with heat, bolts coming loose and boost creep on turbo cars. if installed properly and tuned well there should be minimal if any additional maintenace.

I believe the s2k is in Austin....but i could be wrong...

It was a custom kit that Precision R made...i believe they were only using a T3/T4 hybrid turbo..

I have heard of 2NRWerks...i heard they do good stuff. I might talk to you about boosting mine as well. I like to get as much knowledge from people. I am looking to boost mine and make it custom..I am going with a GT35R turbo though.
