hehe - You still haven't said what state you are a resident of. I think that the residency problem will be an issue at any public texas school because they have the same rules but UT Austin admits a higher # of those top ten percent and less of the rest.
Why not Indiana University - its a great campus - one of the best I've seen because its a small town, great basketball, and great school :) OK Advertisement is over - I wish you and your son the best in selecting a school! |
Because his son hasn't expressed interesting in Indiana Univ. And I mean, it IS Indiana. :D

Actually I am a resident of Texas though I currently live in MD due to my being in the military. I imagine the state of Texas has some provisions for military children. By the way, I enjoyed "Hoosiers," the movie. I liked Coach Knight when he was at Indiana. I don't know if that is a fighting word for some people in Indiana. :D

Hehe - Indiana University is about the only good thing in Indiana :) If you're military and resident of Texas your son should have residency too.

UT is overrated somebody is trying to say. ;)

Well, my son took his SAT and we will find out in 4-5 weeks. I think he was taken aback by the first essay portion. He wasn't too happy but we will see how he did. He is one of many who took the new SAT couple of weeks ago.

Aye, I hear its a bitch! But don't forget, he's only going to be compared with everyone else, so even if he does worse on it than he would on the old one, if everyone does worse then its ok.
I had to explain that to my little sister recently. |
