Just interested in why there isn't much interest in group activities.

There are not many events in this area! [Austin]
I could not attend the last group drive because I "had" to go out of town with my wife. I certainly would enjoy a group drive sometime through the Hill Country!

I'd like to but I don't check this site religiously and I might be missing the posts. How far out do you all plan events and is there a calendar online? I guess if I knew more you'd see me out there.

Chris, do you REALLY expect San Antonio folks to drive to AUSTIN on a weekday to hang out and do go-kart racing, especially something planned last-minute like that? C'mon... Henry is talking about the weekend events that we usually plan 2-3 weeks in advance and always post on the site here.

Since the majority of the votes say that the 'activities are too long' then what do you guys suggest? Personally, 3 hours worth of driving and a 1-hour lunch doesn't sound bad at all... How much shorter does anybody want to make an event?

Did he say anything about expecting SA folks? No. LeFort didn't mention anything specific about the SA guys either, so it seemed like a general question since neither city has a very active group.
