Wrenching in Austin - Radiator replacement
Hey all,
Looks like the my OEM radiator on my MY01 is shitting the bed. I will be replacing it with a Koyo Radiator(most likely... will order within a few days).
This means I will be pulling the rad out, flushing the coolant, bleeding, and replacing some hoses. The swap will take place 8/10 or 8/16 depending on how I feel when I get back from overseas.
I will gather interest at the next meet 8/7 on who would like to join / watch / hangout. This is my first radiator job / coolant flush so if anyone has experience you are more than welcome to offer (I tend to research and jump right in).

Bananaz,
Yeah make it out to the meet this thursday and I'm sure one of us can help you out! i recently did a cooling system service but i didn't have to remove the rad. getting the top and bottom engine side of those coolant hoses is a tight fit and can be a little tricky.
safe travels back from overseas and cheers!
