sup guys. i'm planning on getting a sk2 pretty soon.
almost pulled the trigger on a few ones before, but ended up buying a Z. which is now gone. if I come across a deal on a s2k, i'll definitely snatch it.

Hi, 99.8% chance I'm picking up silverstone S2000 on this tuesday. 00 AP1. I was wondering how the S2000 can have such a high red line compared to most other vehicles, is it a technology or type of motor?

And how come the AP1 has a 9000 redline but the new ones have 8000?

Its just the motor that makes it capable and 9k is not really that high IMO. New ones only rev to 8k due to the motor being the larger 2.2 vs the 9k on the 2.0

small motors tend to wrap higher. and silverstone is the best color

they lowered the rpm because the stroke is longer in the ap2. less chance of things breaking i assume. its practically an ap1 motor with a stroker kit.
