Default Alignment

Really now.

I've been driving around the South Houston area, as well as Montrose/Westheimer for about a week.

There is NO WAY that anyone around this area can drive more than a month without having alignment issues.

Heheh, i do at least three alignments a year on my car. I don't drive around the rough areas too much so it doesn't push it out too much. Most of the time it's all still in sepc except for the caster but itqs been like that since i got it...

What's wrong with your for your caster to be off? Was it wrecked?

It was about twice a year for me. Should be less now that it's not a DD (and Montrose between W Dallas & Allen Parkway is finally repaved). There are just certain roads/lanes that have to be avoided.

Not that i know. Car was one owner with 19k when i got it. Left side caster's always been off. Adjustment was no use even at the max.

dude i have been living there for 3 years now and have had the car for 2. the first time my car was aligned by a kwikcar and it went bad after a few month. Curt at C&C did my alignment on May 2011 and my car still drives the same. It cost twice as much but it was worth it. I had also installed stiff coilovers when my alignment was done so the car doesnt absorb these ugly potholes that are everywhere around here, and now that im sick and tired of them i dont even slow down anymore. Just make sure that whoever does your alignment bolts it to spec .

the roads are indeed very punishing on the car in this part of town. when i had the suspension changed i hosted a techday at my old house (same neighorhood), and everyone hated me. people were like 'wtf, where do you live man?". i am glad im moving to the galleria.

I drive a lot for work, and a few areas around town I try to avoid at all cost because of the roads in my S...
- exit road to Hobby Airport (Broadway- has to be the worst road in this town! Speed limits 35, I go 15 max and a lot of swerving to aviod holes/bumps.
- Richmond ave between Fountainview and Dunvale- can get airborn in a few spots
- Pasadena- Shaver street/Southmore area- roads are shit out here
- Spring Branch area- Wirt/Long point- roads=crap!

No alignment needed yet, but a few hard hits and sketchy moments for sure!

I think I remember all the potholes around sw now. I move from lane to lane before it comes up looking like a mad man.

I think everyone knows when to change lanes in their own areas of town. I know ask the holes up around here in North West. The one time you find a new one you don't forget it lol
