Hey everyone, i know i have not been as active on the forum but, i feel like I should let the community know so that other people won't make the same mistake as me. About a year ago i sold my stern wheels to Matt (9krevvin) with the idea of payments every month. he has not paid me in full for the wheels, and in the process of trying to contact him he has been avoiding my calls and texts and then gives me promise that he will pay me but, there is no follow through. After a year, I can see the writing on the wall.

I would like to take care of this issue as quickly as possible and I feel this is the only way i can resolve the conflict.

 

I'm honestly stunned to hear of this; especially since both of you are very active and knowledgeable members in our community. I made lots of transactions with local members in the past and never had any issues, and always felt that we are an honest and trustworthy group.

I will add though that lately I've been having my own difficulties with getting in touch with Matt, however for something in lesser of importance.

I hope you and Matt get this sorted out.

 

I think Matt's just hard to get ahold of. He's currently installing all of my turbo parts as well.

I don't think he has any kind if bad intentions at all.

I just tried calling Matt to give him a heads up about this thread but no response.

 

Whoa,well this is out of the blue.

I'm only gonna comment because Matt owes me too for my Veilside wheels and now I'm not sure what else may be going on.This was going on over half a year now.Your stern wheels I remember was way before that.

He did msg me back recently about paying me this coming Wed so I'm holding him to that.

Personally I wouldn't care if he paid me $5 a month as long as he answers me back promptly.The part that bugs me is I've txt him before and he wouldn't answer but someone else standing right next to me was holding a whole txt convo with him.

I've trusted Matt's judgement since day 1. He texted me last night updates on my car.

Ya it's taking a long time but then again I trust his judgement

 

Any update on this? Matt and I are arranging to install my soft top.

 

I find this very surprising to hear as well. Matt has always been very reliable, trustworthy and consistently does top notch work. There have a few times where he doesn't get back to me immediately, but he always does eventually. As two well known and well liked local community figures, I really hope an agreeable resolution can be reached soon.
