Hello, I'm back to my hometown of Houston and brought with me the '01 s2k I bought about a year ago in GA. Great to be here. Any trustworthy mechanics/shops you can recommend?

Welcome back to Houston! 9krevvin (Matt) does excellent work, and has worked on many S2000s in the local community. I highly recommend him for most any work on your S. Another option is C&C Northside. They also do great work (had my valve adjustment done there when I first got my S), mutt they are significantly pricier.
