It has to be over a percentage of vehicle value. I guess they valued your car higher especially if they use nada.

remember every insurance has a diff. value of when they considered it total. my insurance was at 80% if it goes past that they will consider it a total loss.

if damages goes past 100% that's when you car is a salvage title... i think. had a long talk with the adjuster about this. my car was at 96% before it was a total past 100. if what she told me is right if the car has no structural damage then you can get past the salvage title as well

case in point. they stole seats, slash tops and stole various engine components to total it pass the car's value, you can still have a clean title under certain conditions if you

keep your head up Henry. these things take time. i just hope that you're raggin' the rental car out

NOPE still didnt call me yet. hopefully tomorrow they will call. also just go the estimate paper from insurance. all the parts that needed to be replace only cost 3.2k+4.5k labor(freaking stealership) most part cost 100-200 except the wheel+strut+shook is the main cost

just got the car back today. NOT too happy with it.
1- taillight being pushed in at the corner of the panel
2- too MUCH paint caused it to drip n form a mold at the taillight
3-steering wheel is like butter, as soon as i hit the gas it went nuts left and right...
going to take it back n get it fix

Ack! Sorry to hear, man--that bites. Hopefully they'll have all that sorted and your S back to you in time for this weekend!
