my eyes are so so itchy but the allergy meds make me too drowsy
Try Patanol Opthalmic drops. Apply 1 drop to each affected eye.
pros: These are anti-histamine eyedrops that will instantly get rid of the itchiness.
cons: Prescription only, $60-100 for a small bottle, good luck finding a sample from your doc.

no side effects either since it acts locally on your eyes and not the rest of your body.

Came in at 7AM on Saturday, got out at 11:30AM Sunday (28.5 hrs). And to think it could've been much worse back in the old days (>2 years ago): 36-45 hour shifts.
