Bent rim fixer..
There is a place at the corner of 59 South at Shepard, north side of the freewaythat says they repair bent rims. I don't remember the name, but if you are leaving Shepard Plaza on Shepard and going towards 59 it will be on your left side.

If I'm not mistaken, once metal is bent and straightened, it is very like that it will bend again. Again considering the majority of Houstook driving habits, that might not last you too long. Just a thought. I may be wrong.

Droptop: yeah thats true. just the fact is i can't afford to buy a whole new set of rims yet.
Call this place Wheels America 713-686-1311 ask for Eric.
they refinish wheels for 109 per wheel. that includes refinishing the surface as well. my roomate bent my Work wheel , I took it to their san antonio office, wheels look good as new. all the wheels they repair also have lifetime warranty and they do it overnight so downtime is minimal. give them a call. (they redid my wheel in gunmetal and it looks sweet)

Ask Tim (Phantom) for the info about it. I think he knows some people at SABS (Super Auto Body Shop). I know they fix rims.
If that leads to a dead end, let me know. I have to rummage through my stack of paper here to find the shop that fixed my MOMOs before. They are somewhere in Downtown.
Goodluck.

If my memory serves me right, there is a shop right outside of downtown on McGowen that fixes bent rims. I believe the name of the shop is Downtown Wheel Alignment....I think. Take McGowen and head towards 288 and it's on the left a couple blocks beofre you enter the freeway. Hope this helps somewhat.

Great. Glad I could help. Now maybe you can help me. I want to do a few mods to my Acura CL. It's a 97 2.2 with the VTEC. I just put some 18inch Konig Imagines on, and I just installed a Weapon-R intake and am now anxious to supe 'er up more. Can you or anyone else viewing this thread recommend some shops that specialize in these and other types of mods. I'm assuming that I can go to just about go to any of the shops that you guys go to, since the motor is a 2.2 VTEC. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
P.S. I know this is, for the most part, and S2K site and forum, but the site, along with y'alls threads are just so interesting and informative, I just couldn't resist joining. Hopefully one day soon I, too, can afford an S2K, but until that day, I hope you guys don't mind my intrusion.
Peace
