Bubbles Car Wash
Looks like Bubbles Car Wash is a hand-wash place with a few locations around Houston. They also offer a Zymol Treatment in their detailing services.
any comments about them?

I have a friend that was a bubbles car wash sales rep and he tells me straight up about Bubbles. He said that the Zymol wash is the shit. Very expensive though. The only thing that he told me that got me kind of worried is about the buff job they do.
He said that he didn't trust some of the guys with the high speed wheel. It is very easy to burn the paint. You have to know what you are doing with that thing. Other than that, the Zymol wash it top of the line.
I work for the Compaq Factory Outlet, soon to be the HP Factory Outlet, and we have a contract with them so I always get free washes. I use to take my accord and they did a very good job. I would not send my car down the line though. It would have to be hand washed. They give you an option.
Bottom line_________________ Zymol is top notch but kind of weary of the buffing wheel..
One more thing.....You might want to consider buying the Zymol and doing it yourself. I think I get a discount so if you want we can work something out.

I take my car and truck at least once a week. ( Bay Bright )They do a good job. Join the points club and they keep track of points and you get a free wash or $10 off your next wash. I used to go to the on Bay Area Blvd. I think they do a much better job at Bay Bright. Tell them Robert and Kristen( the ones with the red S2K) It's between I-45 and 3.

As far as washes and waxes go Zaino is the best. It's better than Mothers and Maguire's (sp?).

Went there today - they did a very good job. Talked to the sales guy about the zymol and he said to wait a while(6-8 months) since it's a brand new car.
next door to the Bubbles I went to(5735 Westheimer) is FormulaONE, they do window tinting. The manger(owner?), Sunny, has an S2000 so we were talking. He's got a X-Pel Clear-Bra on his that they install. Looks really slick, it's invisible when you're not right by the car and protects from rock chips and such. He's looking to drum up some business for the clear bra and is offering a deal on it. I told him about s2ki and Houstooks and he's willing to extend the offer to others here. The quick research I've done makes the product and offer look pretty good.

In response to the comments made by Juan A. Soto II on our Zymol application, the former Sales Rep's information wasn't exactly accurate. The Zymol process is a two-step process, which is done by hand. However, there are times (very rare) when it is necessary to buff out isolated areas that have light scratches and we recommend to the client that we buff these areas. The former Sales Rep may be confused with our Carnauba detailing process, which is a three-step process where we do buff the vehicle with a heavy duty compound to remove paint fallout, oxidation, scratches and any other imperfections that the cars finish may have. The Second step of the process is the polish application that reconditions the paint as well as the clear coat and Thirdly, the application of the actual Carnauba Wax, which is applied by hand. Our staff is well trained in all of our detail processes and all detail work is supervised by a member of our management staff. We hope this clarifies the processes for you and we have put your concerns at ease. We look forward to seeing you at 1 of our 5 locations real soon. If we can assist you in anyway please feel free to E-mail me at jhart@bubblescarwash.com.
