Hi Guys, I am a new member here & i am from Houston westheimer area. I just bought year 2000 S2000. Its has 90000 Miles on it. It has check engine lights on, i need the inspection sticker, Do u guys any suggestion that i can go some place to Fix my Check Engine beside Dealer? I think dealer is too expensive.

Last week i went to dealer to fix a Missing wheel stud they quoted me $150 but i went to a garage on Dunvale and they charge me only $50 to do the same.

I showed my car to them but they cant pull up all information and they told me take it somewhere who are specialize on Honda.

Please help me out if there is any other way. I cant drive my car without inspection sticker, whenever i see Cops next to me i feel like a criminal.

i have the obd2 reader if you wanna use it to see what code it give out. and from there you can see what is needed to be fix.

 

Autozone can pull the code for ya . Then just do a search ofr what the code means

Yup go to Autozone and they will tell you what the check engine light means for free!

OEM Brand: OBDII

The PCH has determined that the flow detected in the secondary air Injection system is incorrect for the current engine operating conditions.

The air injection system is monitored for faults probable causes
1. Circuit relay defective or fuse open,
2. Check connector and wiring
3. Air Pump defective or hoses blocked.

Thas all said in Auto zone paper. Do u know anyone who can fix these problems for reasonable price, because dealer is too expensive for me.
