Default Clutch changing.

i need to get my clutch changed badly. does anyone know which honda dealership i should take my car to? i won't take it to JEH, 'cause i don't have the money, and i'm pretty sure they'd charge me as much as a hardtop would cost . if you do know a dealership, who should i ask for? as dumb as this may sound, i'm gonna need a no questions asked kinda dealership...'cause i don't have much money. i would understand if they charge me for parts, 'cause i can come up with that i think. all i'd need is the clutch disk (2002, of course), 'cause i have the act presssure plate, and toda flywheel.

thanks for your help guys...oh yeah, your dinner and beer is on me if your place doesn't charge me much (you're gonna have to use your ID, 'cause i'm not old enough). thanks!

Try Hondacar Shop along Dunvale, in between Westpark and Richmond. I have been going to them for basic stuff. They are a bunch of honest folks.

BTW, I haven't got my car yet. Gillman is still fixin' it. I'll let u know as soon as I try out the silencer.

Goodluck!

Mine is being changed as we speak. I'm not paying a dime. They have been really good to me. Clear Lake Honda, Doug Keith takes care of my car. Brent is the only one there that works on them. He is really good!!
Good Luck!!!

Lew,
Not much at all. When I would engage it , it would make a sound. I just thought it needed to be serviced.
They looked at it and told me there was a recall on the clutch. Thats it. Are you having problems?

Kris,

I bought mine at CLH and am due for my 15k.
Mine makes a noise but it is very slight. It also has been engaging very high on the pedal.
(Which they told me is normal)

Did you try to get them yo put on a fly wheel or a performance clutch?

Lew,
It didnt make any other noise other then when I shifted into gear.
They are also replacing the fly wheel #055
Didnt ask about any high performance parts. That may be the reason I dont have any problems getting parts replaced

MO: If you go to Honda of Clear Lake, and they do it while you wait, call me. I live right around the corner. You can come chill and play some GT3 or something.

BTW, Brent does good work.
