you don't have to remove the balljoint to put them on.

you just pop off the UCArm and swing it out of the way and just put them on..

Lol exactly what I ended up doing. It was my first time installing on S2000!

Ok...FINALLY got a hold of someone at Buddy Club that knows what they are talking about.

Zero pre-load on their coilovers. With the weight of the car this puts the shock piston pretty much in the middle and allows for maximum rebound and compression.

So the other guy was right, just snug them up. But he still coulnd't answer on how much to measure for a decent drop at install. Oh well..will play around with it.

Good to know, I've been wondering about pre-load forever. Thanks for clearing up cause now I'll know when I get mine in.

Remember the shock'll probably settle a bit too so set the height a little bit higher than you want.

Thanks all.

We got them installed in about an hour. But about another hour to just get the level right on one side. Doesn't really help that the instructions are in Japanese.

Oh well. Going to get it raised a little more after the springs settle then get an alignment. Wish someone had some measurements of the perches. Would help to see where it gets you height wise.
