Default Daily driver?

I'm thinking about getting a S2k. I currently drive a '03 TL-S but kind of like something that handles a lot better.

Any other daily drivers.

Why NOT ?

It is an ideal daily driver; fast, handles great, good gas mileage, easy on tires (with a $100 front end re-alignment), reasonable insurance for a high performance sport car, fun, looks almost a good as the ladies it attracts (or is it me?), .................................................

Where is the downside???

been a daily driver to almost 5 years.

less then 20 miles a gallon is not good gas mileage. drive it hard, top down, watch the gas go down fast.

it is not easy on tires.

insurance price is ok for it.

yes its fun

if you have to use a car to attract the ladies, you need alot more then a s2k.

My s is also a daily driver (300+ a week) but that is my only car. If I had a Acura or what ever parked in the garage I would drive it MOST of the week (not all). But that is just me. Houston Galleria traffic is a b!#*^!!!

just to chime in a bit, my S has been a daily driver for me since April, aprox. 1000 miles a week on her for the past 6 months, never had a problem, car runs awesome. I do go through alot of tires, but i dont care because the car is fun to drive on all my road trips.........I have USAA ins. so its pretty cheap for me being in the Army. MY00 with 114k miles; probably due for a valve adjustment.

thanks,
juan

[QUOTE=yellow2001,Nov 27 2005, 05:47 PM] less then 20 miles a gallon is not good gas mileage.
