DE Events
Hey coop and Joe:
At the Pizza Hut I think you both liked PCA over the others for DE, is that right? I figure I'll have Curt at C&C do the tech sign-off (great guy BTW and great service!). Anyting I'm missing?
Thanks. Kyle

You're starting off right. Get with Curt and have him give your car a once-over.
Here's a list of the area Driving Schools.
The Driver's Edge
- Be sure and get a helmet. You don't want to put on those sweaty loaner helmets!!
- Make a hotel reservation.
- Bring a cooler with food and drink
- Sunscreen lotion
- Tech Inspection Sheet (Curt)
- Review the organization's website for other specific info.

I have done some of the others, and they are pretty much the same setup (with much the same instructors). I believe LSRPCA have a turn by turn account/tutorial on TWS 2.9 CCW.
Something that is not mentioned here that is a good idea is a large container to hold all the stuff you take out of your car (carpets, radar detector, tools etc..), it helps keep all of your items dry and out of prying eyes. Also bring some towels to wipe yourself down with (you will sweat!!) and to wipe off water/oil etc off of shoes and pedals. You may also want to bring a set of chairs, there will be a lot of waiting with sparatic driving 'crazy' (but safe) inbetween.
Also, I would bring along a long sleave cotton shirt and jeans just in case they give you a hard time about wearing short sleaves (they havent been lately, but you never know).
You also may want to bring a tire pressure gauge, if you don't have one... others will have them trackside.
Hope this helps,
Dale
