fall drive
Hey guys, started planning a drive on s2kca last week. This is how it ended up. Should last 6-8 hours. And it will be a great chance to see Harris Hills Road. S2KCA is having a track event out there that day, and I've been told we should be able to get on the track for a parade lap or two. Hollur if you want on the list.
Here are the details for a "fall drive".
When it gets closer I will get my number out etc.
DATE: This will be on November 14th, 2009
Meet at: Sam's @ 7:30 am
20424 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77449 (Sam's Club)
try to gas up before you get there.
1st destination: Harris Hills Road (arrive approx. 10:30)
2840 Harris Hill Rd
San Marcos, TX 78666
2nd destination: Murphy's Steakhouse (arrive approx. 2 pm)
204 Thomas St
La Grange, TX
3rd destination: Sam's (arrive approx. 5:30 pm)
20424 Katy Freeway, Katy, TX 77449 (Sam's Club)
try to gas up before you get there.

This drive should be a good chance to see harris hills road (if you have not already) get some good food and hang out with other awesome s2k owners (although any car is welcome (HG, I'm talking to you)). It is just for fun. Please no crazy driving.
Also, let me know if you guys having any concerns about the details. It's a very flexible schedule. I know the meet time is early, but it needs to be so that we can get there in the morning before cold track and get to lunch before everyone is starving.
UPDATE** - I talked to eric and sondra, and we should be good to get a parade lap or two while we are at the track, as long as we make it by cold track (11:30- 12 : 30 I think). MAKE SURE TO SIGN THE WAIVER WHEN WE GO IN THE GATE. She said lunch would be available for $7 also. If you want lunch there, LET ME KNOW ahead of time. Otherwise, we are eating at MURPHY's on the way back.

We should make another Austin trip out of this one since we'll be in San Marcos already. Do the track stuff in the morning, float the river during the afternoon in New Braunsfels, and then drive to Austin in the evening.
