anyone up for 'faster' - opens this weekend at the River Oaks on W. Gray this weekend. Don't know what showtimes are yet.

CORRECTION: The movie will open at the Landmark Greenway 3. The only showtime is 10PM.

faster is a documentary that follows Valentino Rossi and his 'rival' Max Biaggi for the 2002 season of MotoGP, the pinnacle of 2 wheel racing. No special effects. I believe 2002 is the first season of 990cc four stroke regulation. Should see lots of racing and the drama behind the pit walls.

Looks like they throw in some footage from the late 80's, early 90's with Mick Doohan, Kevin Schwantz and Wayne Rainey. Incredible stuff they can do on these machines.

Definitely not a date movie, though.
