If they shave your fenders, they are actually cutting sheet metal from the inner lip of the fender. If they don't spray it with whatever color your car is then seal with some anti-rust stuff. You'll have rusty fenders in no time. My price was actually high compared to others whom actually had the procedure done. On my Lexus, I was charged by JC Autobody 40/fender. Alex can chime in with the places that charge cheaper. Its a cost effective procedure that saves a lot of headaches.

Some sponsor on HI was running a "special" on shaving 2 fenders for $120!!

That is far from a special but apparently made a killing since so many people were interested.I just couldn't live with myself ripping people off like that.I would do it for a 6pk of Shiner.
