Default Fighting a BS ticket

today i was driving on bellaire and a cop pulls me over and gives me a ticket for "loud muffler". i only have a apex world sport exaust, and if any of you have heard the exhaust...its on the quieter side compared to other exhaust available for the Stook. i wanna go out on a limb and say its ALMOST as quiet as the stock one.

so, i really think my ticket is BS ...because i was driving at a speed of around 20 mph in 3rd. do any of you guys how to approach this situation?..and beat it?

thanks

I live here in Bellaire and the cops can be pretty uncool to the people driving through. I live next door to the judge for their courts and you can bet I drop his name when they pull me over... You wont get out of the ticket but if your feeling fiesty you can fight it and win. Call my lawyer:
Larry Rousseau
(713) 222-0550
Tell him you want a jury trial and you want to take it to the mat. It wont be cheap but you will win.

I thought he was talking about the city of bellaire. The same still applies, he will have to fight it. I dunno if you guys are aware or not but under the Mayor White's Nazi rule, no ticket goes unprosecuted- in other words, if the ticket gets dismissed because the officer doesnt show, then they REOPEN THE CASE and have another trial. You WILL have to fight if you want to win. Call Larry....

We have a good Lawyer that a few have used, but I don't know his name. Maybe Joe or Dale can tell you.

That would be Scott Markowitz.

His number is 713-521-7568.

I have used him before and he can get results. I think also Joe has used him also.

David Sprecher is very good, I think something like that will cost like 100-150 dollars to fight but he WILL get it dismissed.

No he wont. Nobody gets tickets dismissed any more. The only way out is a jury trial now. You guys havent been to traffic court recently have you???

I was like a lil over a month ago. Judge Yeoman's court for speeding on beltway feeder I believe. Sprecher had it dismissed.
