Default Flooding...

Hope everyone made it home safe tonight. My street is still flooded, slowly going down. Supposedly its supposed to hit harder tonight
So did anyone have any damage from the flood?

As not to jinx myself, I am refusing to answer this question until the rain stops. Even then, I 'm not saying. Bad luck. hehe

Nah. I made the right decision and took the truck to work this morning. Those two or three feet of water on the way home didn't stop me at all.

Of course, my commute took a whopping 15 minutes instead of the usual five, but I can still live with that...

Hope everyone made it home OK too. Jezzz some people drive crazy. Bay Area Blvd between Pasadena and Clear Lake flooded pretty good so you had to drive slowly on the side of the road less flooded and some fool in the Bubba F350 goes splashing through 8" of standing water at 50 mph; made the whole line of traffic almost come to a complete stop from loss of visibility.

Still raining heavily in Clear Lake.

Sorry for the rant.

I hate people who do that. This guy that lives across the street from me did that too. My friends van was parked on the street and water was getting inside so he went in through the back doors to get his books out since they were on the floor, and this bastard comes fast as hell down my street and all this water got in my friends van. Didn't say sorry or anything just pulled onto his driveway and walked into his house.
