Default Friday night and....

I'm in bed early, bout 9:30pm (have to catch up on sleep since I didn't sleep the week I was in Vegas) and then suddenly...... THUNDER! But..... there is no storm. Bruce and I go outside and there is this HUGE massive tree limb that came down on the neighbors side. (thank God) It took up half his back yard and if it had falled on our side (the tree is right at the fence line) it would have crashed through the garage and smushed our vehicles!

Who else had an adventure tonight????

Nothing as exciting. Visited at least six bookshops in Houston tonight searching for a book that may or may not be out of print. Commentaries from sales staff ranged from "we can get in in three to eight days" to "two to six weeks" to "we can't order it."

Perfect night for top-down driving though. I felt very Zen-like.

It was a nice evening for a drive! So, Ulrich, just in case you have a problem figuring it out, 3-8 days for a book is WAY better than 2-6 weeks!
