Smile Gillman Honda

So I'm post-call today, got no sleep since Tuesday night (5 hours), and I'm exhausted. So I get the rest of today off and decide to get some stuff for an oil change while I have the opportunity. Went over to Gillman Honda and ask for an oil filter for the S2000. Guy hands me this skinny blue tube. Now my brain may be fried, but I kept thinking that something was not right. Asked the parts guy if this filter was for the S2000 and he said 'of course'. I asked again, and he said that all Hondas use the same filter. Somewhere deep in my defunct brain, I remembered that the S2000 has a PCX code for the oil filter and noticed this one said PLM. Idiot keeps arguing with me that this filter works for the S2000. Finally, I told him to look up the PCX code and I was right. Guy didn't even apologize. He looked up for that filter in stock and said they were out and they could have it shipped to the dealership later today. Pass....course, he still offers to sell the PLM filter.

Went to Goodson Honda and had no problems getting what I wanted.

And Goodson typically has coupons on their internet site so you can save some money, too.

OMG THIS HAPPENED TO ME TODAY TOO FROM GILLMAN! STUPID B****ES!

i needed the PCX made for the s2000 and i gave them the part number
they said "We don't even stock those.... the PLM's are universal". i'm like dude. they make it specifically for the car! so i call goodson west and thy're like yeah its a difffent filter. goodson carries that PCX s2000 filter in stock. it's $8.52
but oh well. f***ing gillman's been using the wrong filter in my car..
so imma go to goodson now buy the new filter and then go to gilmman and return the other one and be like "HERE ****ES THIS IS THE RIGHT FILTER AND U NEED TO START CARRYING THIS S*** IN STOCK". just like they're dumb asses putting 6 quarts int he 2.0 when 6 quarts is needed in the 2.2. WTF are they smokking over there!!?

the sales counter guy was "John". on Friday around 3pm.. i even asked him "are u sure this is the new filter?" and he was like "yes". i don't know who i talked to saturday morning....

Or, buy three for $12 and use their 10% off coupon from their website on top of that.

At least that's what I did last time.
