I live here in Houston and have been thinking about buying an my05 S2K for a couple weeks now. I have been bumming around these forums trying to learn as much as I can about the S first. I wanted to see what your experience has been with Goodson Honda on the Katy Frwy? I test drove the car there on Saturday and I must say my salesman was pretty cool. No pressure at all. Feel free to recommend a different dealership also. Thanks in advance for your responses, I look forward to seeing what you have to say.

Also, if I get the car you can count me in on the GTG's, I also have another friend with an S that would probably want to start comming too. Thanks.

Don't know about Goodson for buying a car, but I am reasonably happy with their body shop. They fixed my bumper quite nicely last year and got a good color match. Thumbs up for that.

Ya I would agree on the John Eagle Honda statement. They are great guys over there. They were nice enough to let us have a gtg there and provide us with lunch and other goodies. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

 

I bought my car at JEH. Hold firm and you'll get a good price.

 

Bought my 2002 at Goodson and have been treated very well. Check with Shaun in sales and tell him Pete (nfr) said you could do better elsewhere if he didn't take care of you. They know me well there. Had my 2001 S2000 serviced there (did not buy it at Goodson) as well and was always treated fairly and had lots of attention paid to the car whenever I brought it in. It was one of the things that made me buy my 2002 there. Leo, the manager in their quicklube area, will help out on just about anything if you treat him right. He keeps me out of the maintenance lines by taking my car from the quick lube area and bringing mechanics to the car if I have anything to check out. I bring donuts if I show up in the morning and a little bottle of wine on holidays. Very cheap insurance for good service.
