I just got a s2k, so thief in these s2000 are pretty bad? Was it parked outside of our house or something?

If it's an AP1, there is a chance that it may get totaled out. One of our members cars got totaled out, while another recently received a check for the damages. Hope everything goes smoothly with your insurance.

Theft rates are very high with the S. If you look at past threads, there is one almost every month and those are just from s2ki members.
Keeping the car in a garage is definitely a must. Other preventative measures are seat locks and hardtops/ht locks, although neither is a guarantee.

 

gl, even if they total it out, you can still buy it back if you wanted it.

 

How the hell did they take the dash off so quick? Honestly considering you got seats and steering wheel/airbag then yes it will be totaled out most likely.

 

S2K seats, clusters, and other interior parts are very popular, and easy to take, so thieves target them. Kodakan makes some nice seat locks, but he may not be doing that any more.
