When people say use a stock airbox with K&N drop in filter, and a spoon snorkel they mean, use a stock air box with a K&N fiter on the end, with this? http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/merchant...da_S2000_Intake

I fail to see how that connects to the stock airbox.

in all honesty most intakes are not really too useful for the S. i mean when you pop the hood its just one tube that goes into the intake. and the spoon snorkel goes past the radiator support somewhere in the front of the bumper.

I have the k&n drop in filter. It replaces the stock filter inside the box. The snorkel attaches to the end of the box in the front and loops down to the opening in the front bumper.

You'll find out quick that intake, header, and exhaust don't really do much for the car. The bang for buck isn't too good.

Most of the intakes that produce minimal gains are ram air style intakes which dyno plots are kind of skewed since they can just have a huge fan blowing in front of it when on the dyno.

that is why i am not interested in performance upgrades for this car. if i can do anything to make it faster it will be a turbo or a S/C kit. to think that a hypertech header costs a grand less then a S/C kit. but, NA is your thing prepare to break the bank.

I was just going to get the ARC box / chamber, and the j's hood dampeners, and the valve cover stuff just for bling / show car material.
