differential transfers power to wheels at different rotational speeds
don't know what you mean by how the start button works?

good luck on the pickup... definitely a completely different beast than the srt-4

thanks, like the start button, do you have to have the key in and then press it, or is it like the audi, where if the key is within range, it'll automatically start.

Also, I hear seat stealing is a big issue? Anyway to prevent it?

lol, wish it were wireless. you have to insert the key, rotate, press clutch, then press the start button.
you can get seat locks, but am unsure to how much they actually help out. Do a search, am sure you'll find a lot of good info

Is it really such a big issue to be paranoid about? I see a lot of S2000s around Houston... Live in a pretty OK neighborhood.

I've heard of a few here... best bet is parking the car in the garage or having a ht.

you'll love the S. ASAA is good for parts. I bought most of my crap used online here. Gotta stick key in. Search for Kodokan seat locks. The car is not an ITR, you should be ok. Avoid rough neighborhoods.

as long as you don't leave your top down or park in SOHO you shouldn't worry about your seat.

welcome to Houstooks!

these cars are pretty reliable. the only thing i would check out after 60k on the ap1's the wheel bearing may go out. not a big deal. cost me 100 bucks and got everything taken care of
