Help with uninstall
Hey Guys,
I know I haven't been a member of the Houston community very long but I've got a favor to ask. I'm looking to start parting out my car to sell it. I wanted to see if anyone would be willing to help me uninstall coilovers and return it back to stock suspension. Also I could probably use a little help installing my stock intake because I can't remember where all the crap goes back on the car ha. If anyone is willing to help I can compensate for time. If anyone can help please post here or PM me so I can work out a time and everything. Thanks in advance!

I might be able to have to see if I have time to. The intake is super easy the suspension will take a little time and you will need to get the car aligned after. When were you looking at getting it done.
i see that you have KWv3's that is going to take a little longer than typical coils as you need a compressor and need to piece back together your OEM shocks with the stock tophats.
if you're parting the coils out, I wouldn't mind taking them from you

Well I installed the intake myself and well I've got all the parts I think to put it back together I just don't remember how I took it apart...ha. Yea I figured it would take a bit longer on the coilovers since I needed to put the top hats back on. I am parting them out and planned on selling them on here. I'm really looking to do this ASAP. I'm off friday, sunday and monday.

that seems that would be your best bet. instead of breaking down your KW's, just sell them as is and ask for their OEM shock with top hats and everything.
Well I actually still have my stock suspension here and would just like to transfer over the top hats to those instead and reinstall. But I get what you are saying and I would do it but I'm looking to get as much $$$ as I can and don't want to get shorted on a trade. I have been trying to get my finances in order for a while because I only just moved to houston in march. So I thought I could hold off until my car was paid for in june but money is just getting wayyy to tight. So I decided to sell the car now part out what I can, pay off my debt and get my crap in order. I hope to maybe get back into one later down the road. Thankfully I have a second car that is already paid off.

ha thanks its hard to be responsible dammit! I'm going to miss this car. I may still end up trying to trading suspension with someone since I don't really know anyone with an impact gun to make it easier.

it really is just easier. it becomes a job that can be done into an afternoon than a job that you're bitching about every step.and they made more than one s2000 so you always find some crazy awesome deals on one.
Yea and I really hate bitching through the process. I will probably just trade with someone on here plus some $ but we'll see. That's my thought process too, while I still like this particular car I know there are plenty to be had later down the line.
