Default HKS 75mm Single

So i just got my HKS 75mm Single in yesterday and got a chance to install it last night. i took pictures of it so everyone can see the quality of the piece.

So here it is upon opening the box

The system laid out in my living room.

For the most part the welds were nice, however there were a few ugly ones. Although i dont think i will ever have any issues with them. Here is one i didnt like.

These are the really good looking machine welds on the end of the mufflers

And finally the extra hanger bracket that is included with this exhaust.

Throughout all of this i apparently forgot to take a pic of the back of the car so i will get that when ever i take the videos.

Overall i am very happy with the exhaust. I used to have Invidia duals which to me were very loud and raspy with alot of drone. This exhaust however is very clean in it's sound. even with my test pipe there is hardly any rasp. There is still a considerable amount of drone though. It is bearable but it is definitely there. One of my favorite things about the exhaust though is that at WOT i can still hear my intake whereas the invidia used to completely drown it out. I think that for the price, this is a great system. I for one refuse to pay 1200 dollars for a cat-back exhaust system. This one can be had for 600 shipped from most places. Plus it has proven gains on the Dyno, Especially when paired with a test pipe.

I also wanted to thank No Limit Motorsports for their great service, pricing, and extremely fast shipping.

Update: After driving it for a few days i can definitely tell a difference. Butt dyno says there is alot more low end and midrange. The Transition to Vtec is alot smoother which tells me there is more power before the crossover. And while in Vtec it screams.

Which Invidia duals did you go away from? I have the q300's and love the sound, but they are getting tiresome.

Low rpm's it does boom a bit. but when you are actually cruising it's not bad at all. Plus I can easily say this is the best sounding exhaust for the s2k i have ever heard.

Omnicube-I had the N1 Duals. Way louder than the q300. they were raspy and extremely loud with alot of drone.
