Default Houston Performance Shops

Guys I'm looking for a performance shop in the Houston area that does quality work. I know of the main two Inline Racing and SSA but are there anymore that take pride in their work?? I need a clutch upgrade right now and a turbo install in a few weeks and need someone who we can trust.

I'd go to either the above for the work.

Both of those shops have experience and are priced reasonable.

If you're going turbo, I highly recommend Inline Racing. Huy will explain everything to you, will tell you what's necessary, what's extra, what's crap, and takes much pride in his work. Talk to him and you can tell he's very passionate about his work.

Curt @ C&C's is the exact same way, but if you want motor work or turbos, stick with Inline. Everything else, Curt's good.

well, let's put it this way. I believe Inline Racing has their own dyno now. Much easier to just get it done all in one place rather than have to schedule dyno time somewhere else and pay on top of that IMO. If you do turbo, ITBs, or ECU tuning, I think Inline is the way to go. Stratocaster took his car there recently for his track car

I agree with tom, with one exception. Curt can install the turbo, but just can't tune it. for that, I would have Hue@ inline do it. So for a clutch or turbo installation, Curt is the man.
