well guys last night tried starting my car and all the lights would come on and i put the clutch and the starter would turn over but, not fire the engine. i also the green blinking key would not go away.

after doing a search on it. it seems to be an immobilizer system. where the key (microchip) won't talk to the ECU. does anybody know how to fix this. do i just unplug my alarm or do i need to get honda to make me some keys?

any help would be greatly appreciated. and any advice as well.

most probably a bad immobilizer receiver unit. 90% chance

and or bad key---but its a small chance like 10 percent

and of course..if you have an alarm system then check that cause most will hook up to the immobilizer unit and disable it

easiest way is to remove the key column cover, unscrew the receiver unit, swap with someone and attempt restart

the part isnt that expensive--like in the hundred something range last i check
