Hey guys, I figured I'd finally make a post and quit lurking. I just picked up an 05 nfr s2000 about a month ago after selling my 02' civic si, and have been enjoying it ever since. I went through alot of setups with my si including a turbo charged tsx k24 setup that put down 373whp/300wtq @ 9 psi, so needless to say my stock ap2 feels a little sluggish, but I'll take rwd and reliability over traction-less power that breaks shit any day of the week.

I had a few questions....do you guys ever do track days at tws or motorsport ranch or similar tracks in Texas? Also I'm looking for a set of moderately cheap (800-1500) used wheels and tires so I can put some r-comps on the stock 17's, so if anybody has a set please pm me. Finally, I was under the impression that Honda made a rear lip for the ap2's, but I have yet to find one for sale on the online oem part sites...anybody know where I can aquire one? Thanks!

There isnt a rear lip for an AP2 bumper as far as i know.Maybe just like a rear diffuser but nothing oem.Welcome to the site.I cant tell you much about the track but hopefully Coop will chime in anytime now.BTW a lot of the Houston people post here:

Hey Alex. It has been a while. It looks like the majority of EP ex-owners upgrade to the S2K. Did you get the car with clear side markers and removed windshield tape? Are you still in Austin? The majority of the guys in Houston and Track addicts so you will find a nice home in the s2k community. That lip looks great. I gotta get one.

Mikeeeyyyy!!! Haha whats up man! I got the car with the clear side markers, and I'm not sure what you're referring to about the the windshield tape. I decided to double major so I have one more year left in austin, and I moved into an apartment on the corner of 6th and trinity, so if you ever swing through you have to hit me up I would love to do some track days with this car considering that it overall handles better stock than the ep did with full coils, bars, and a quaife.

Alleykat - that is a hot ass s2k, have you been running 400whp on a stock bottom end for a while now?

 

lol....I've been looking at M3's...lol.. I will stay true with the S2000. People on Bimmerfest says their M3 is in the shop more than they drive it. I'm sticking with Honda!

 

The windshield tape is normally removed when a person has a hard top on their car so it looks better. The windshield frame has black tape on it from factory that can be removed. MY06 still has the tape untill I get my HT. MY05 had it removed when I had my HT. No doubt, I will swing by if I'm in Austin or I'll catch ya at an AutoX in College Station. S2k> Ep.

Well i forgot when the turbo was up and running.I think it was like since February.Yup stock bottom.Well stock motor for that matter.I -WAS- gonna build it but now I wanna put the $ towards something else.Im a procrastinator and i also change my mind about everything every 5mins.
