Nah, my car would never be more than 50 percent value of my home. I'm by no means rich but I'm not living in the poor house either.

for same mileage/year, you can get IS for 2-3k cheaper...
unless the IS is too small

is gets shtty gas mileage for it's size

the es gets like 27 highway ( compared to the IS's 22)

For all its worth, the es is a glorified camry. I mean they stepped up the interior and subtle exterior differences.
