I've been contemplating on trading up for a Luxo. I've really been tempted with an SC300.

That's the newer one. I think John was referring to the previous model. Basically, the na supra motor and you can get them in manual tranny. I'd still drive the newer one. They are pretty nice cars.

Yep!

3.0L 2JZ-GE (With head studs and a head gasket, 600hp is easily attainable)

The Automatic and Manual transmissions aren't very strong. The 5 speed manual will most likely break at around 500hp, while the Automatic can be built to withstand around 600hp (courtesy of Boost Logic).

Shoot, I'd still buy one and mod. Those cars have so much potential.
