Dude, I totally agree about buying a 2nd gen GS, but I cant get one for $3k-$4k like I can with an SC300. If i find a decent GS for cheap, i will pick it up.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I thought the budget was 10k like you said in the other thread that's why I mentioned it.

2001 or newer is usually the one with all the minor exterior/interior upgrades. If you don't care about that, then I'd get a 99 which should be way cheaper then 10k. Make sure to change out the ball joints as the first thing to do on the maintenance list. I still have the online dealer I used if you need the info. You can choose between a 400/430 and a 300. 300 has inline six like is300 and supra na.
Dont listen to him Juan.Get an LS400 at the least. You will regret the GS later.
A 2000 model LS pwns the 2nd gen GS all day long.Just look thru this thread for pics.Everyone in Houston is modding a 2nd gen.OH SO TRUE! keke.

the gs300 doesnt necessarily have the supra motor. i think only the 98 supra came with vvtl-i. its either that or the 97 has it too. anythin before that doesnt for sure. only like a 5hp difference anyways from what i remember

i would definitely take a 2001 or newer LS over a 2nd gen GS any day, but the LS's are still pricey.
