Those cops on 45 arnt fans of cars without front license plates huh?

Was driving back to Dallas from Houston today and was stopped 3 times, once by Willis, Once in Wortham and once in Ellis county.. Every single one was for not having a front license plate. Each gave me a warning thankfully, i dont think they would write that ticket.

One cop actually told me 'if i were you i would just keep it with you, and when you go on long trips like this, just throw it in your dash' like he knows its a bogus law and was telling me how to get 'around' it

i laughed

anyone else getting popo troubles about this alot?
Ive had the car for about a year and a half and have never gotten one word about it until today. (and ive had my fair share of tickets)

Yeah man the cops around here are straight dicks about it, but then again they try to write tickets for anything they can in the first place. My dad got one for not having one on his jag the first day he got his plates and trust me the cop could give a rats ass less about listening to a logical argument.

You guys forget. They are more hungry now to meet their ticket quota each month due to traffic camera's going up everywhere.

Consider yourself lucky man. I know around where I stay, they'll pull you over to see if they can get more citations. No plate being the first if you don't have one.

You don't count man. You are on the outskirts of Houston.

When i got arrested (long story) and i was getting my prints taken i was talking to the cop i was like ya so how many tickets you got left to fill for your quota or does an arrest count as triple or insta-filled? He got pissed and demanded that quotas are illegal and they are not allowed to have them. I was just like ok.

Dunno about that one, but if they dont have quotas man they really are strung out to prove something to someone
