Every year, I make the long haul from wherever I am living at the time, to Deals Gap, NC. For those of you that don't know about the Tail of the Dragon (route 129) SHAME ON YOU!!! And, here is a site with info. Since I finally got the integra up and running, I planned on bringing that as usual, but I believe the thieves poured something in the gas tank. The car isn't running correctly and without enough time to troubleshoot, I was left to take the S2000 to an Integra meet. Go figure! There were not supposed to be any other cars at the meet, but everyone understood my situation, and I was the ONLY other different car at the meet. I even made Killboy's front page!!!

So now I can say I am completely comfortable with the S2000. I actually like driving it better than the Integra now, and can't wait to make it a track whore as well. Even stock, this thing ALMOST kept up with some people I usually run with on the dragon.... Perhaps with someone less timid, it would do much better

I believe there is an annual event for s2000's there. But its called wake of the dragon or something along those lines. You won't be singled out as the only s2000 if you attend.

I went in my Miata, but not the S2k yet. Cherokee National Forest is pretty scenic too if you have a chance to look at something else besides the twisty road
