You sir have EXCELLENT taste in music
I love Portishead too. I prefer to listening to their stuff on vinyl. Lo-fi with all the record scratches is the best way to listen to them
To go from GWAR to Portishead? You music collection must be as eclectic as mine

i have been meaning to get into the vinyl game. i have heard vinyl and gives it a soothing warm feel to the record. i don't how to put but, it just add something diff. to the record.
You're absolutely right though. There would be days that I would put a vinyl record on, sit back on my couch, and just listen.
