Kasra is the name of the restaurant my friend took me to... its GOOD man! their hummus(sp) is awesome... it's on westheimer near gessner (next to the new YAO restaurant [which i might is NO BANG for ur buck])

Yea, he has a restaurant now. I heard it's expensive as hell and not really worth the price.

yup... i wanted Kasra one night but my coworkers were like "ewww PERSIAN FOOD?!" so we went to Yao... and lemme tell ya. Chinese (or any asian food for that matter) is usually best when it's a family owned hole in the wall... other than that all they can do is jack up the price and serve the same food (which came out cold and bland) in a nicer backdrop.

ps: the bar is tight tho! i wouldnt mind watchin a game there.

they have really good kabobs... and i LOVE the long grain rice. it looks dry but its actually really moist.. If u go to Kasra get the Hummis and Kubideh! i like the beef Kubideh but my friends say chicken is pretty yummy too!

u'll like it if you like herb-y/bold flavored foods... can't explain it... the only thing that's somewhat comparable to me is chipotle bc when u get their beef with that spicy salsa its really bold...
